As part of our After School Program, we offer sets of courses. The first is a course for Elementary school students grades 1-6.

There is an additional evening course for Junior highschool students grades 7-8. 我們提供完整的課後學習課程

P-Classes: Grades 1-6 

小學一到六年級

Following on the Happy Marian early childhood curriculum, we follow an American Primary School Teaching Plan. This course is taught by responsible and skilled native Foreign Teachers following a well structured Happy Marian lesson plan. Observation by our Teaching directors ensures the quality of teaching within our school. 延續快樂瑪麗安紮實的幼兒部課程開始，緊接著是囊括美國小學精髓的「美國小學班」，在美國小學班的課程，我們採用美國小學的教學方案。整個課程皆由經過專業訓練的外國教師依照快樂瑪麗安的教學課綱進行教學。校區內的教學主管會隨時針對各班外師的教學進行評核及改善檢討以維持高水準的教學品質。

 

The American Primary School Teaching Plan continues the teaching of fundamental listening and speaking skills, as well as introducing the writing of “Book Reports” based on books read. Children naturally absorb the language by reading interesting stories. Additional projects reinforce children's independent thinking skills and creative writing. This system improves children's writing and reading skills. 快樂瑪麗安美國小學班不但延續聽與說基礎能力，並且在課程的規劃上引進現行美國小學最盛行Book Report及 Project Approach教學法，讓孩子透過有趣的故事書閱讀，在自然的語言情境中，接觸與了解美語的適當用法。快樂瑪麗安自美國引進的教學法能增進孩子在讀與寫上之能力，因為孩子在閱讀的過程中，可以逐步熟悉美語字彙，以及慣用語的正確使用法。另外，也可以從故事書中學習分析角色、情節與轉折的過程，來鼓勵孩子創造新的故事結構，而展現創造最直接方法，則是運用寫作的方式。如此，孩子長期經歷「閱讀」與「寫作」的訓練，自然奠定日後於美語表達上，更加靈活與自然。

 

Our Primary Program covers additional subjects including Phonics, Writing, Listening, Reading, Conversation, Science, Math, and project presentation. By teaching this program we believe our students experience accelerated learning with ease. 美國小學的課程涵蓋學齡兒童應學習的知識與技能。包括Phonics, Writing, Listening, Reading, Conversation, Science, Mathematics, Project 等等。運用這些多元化的課程，孩子能夠更快速更有效率的學習。

 

During the course of our program students would have the opportunity of periodical evaluation, such as bi-weekly tests, pop-quizzes, midterm and final exams. We encourage the students to achive positive outcomes by enacting a positive reward system. Each child is both self-motivated and nurtured by their teachers to continue to reach their full potential. 校區並在每學期舉行抽考、雙週考、月考等落實學期成績評鑑及激勵自發性學習的獎勵制度。

AT-Classes: Grades 7-8 

國中一到三年級

Following the completion of the Elementary level classes, students can continue to a weekly English class on Friday evenings. 在完成美國小學班的課程後，孩子可以在校繼續研修針對國中青少年的美國中學精修班課程。
